Neijing

The Huangdi Neijing is one of the most important medical texts in ancient China, considered the foundational work of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM). It is primarily composed of two parts: the Suwen and the Lingshu, covering the fundamental theories of TCM, diagnostic methods, treatment principles, and theories of health preservation.

Yin-Yang and Five Elements Theory: The text explains physiological activities and pathological changes in the human body through the lens of Yin-Yang and Five Elements, emphasizing the unity between humans and nature and the principle of harmony between heaven and humans.

Suwen

This section mainly discusses TCM theories, including Yin-Yang and Five Elements, Zang-Fu organs, meridians, Qi, blood, body fluids, etiology, pathology, diagnosis, and treatment. It is presented in a question-and-answer format, recording dialogues between the Yellow Emperor and his ministers, and elaborating on the theoretical framework of TCM.

Lingshu

This section focuses on the theory of meridians, acupuncture, and human anatomy and physiology. It provides detailed descriptions of the distribution of meridians, the locations and functions of acupuncture points, and explores the principles and practices of acupuncture therapy.
